چکیده
Background: Concerns are increasing over the mechanisms of drug resistance pathogens among non-gonococcal urethritis (NGU) or cervicitis. The study aims to explore distribution Ureaplasm urealyticum (U. urealyticum) and Mycoplasma homins (M. homins) isolates, characteristics multidrug resistance, underlying mechanism allow clinicians deliver rational therapy for NGU. Methods: Samples from cervical secretions 246 patients with NGU were collected. culture susceptibility tests performed, respectively. genes detected by multiplex Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), PCR products cloned sequenced. Results: Out samples, overall prevalence U. and/or M. hominis infection was 39.02% (96/246). In 96 positive rate higher than that single (46.87% vs. 28.13%) (p < 0.05), coinfection 25.00% (24/96). Each isolate exhibited at least three types antimicrobial agents (manifest more 70% erythromycin, tetracycline, ciprofloxacin, spiramycin, followed ofloxacin, roxithromycin, azithromycin josamycine (with thereto 50%)). More 80% isolates susceptible minomycine doxycycline, whereas 81.16% 77.44% both also doxycycline. Surprisingly, mixed tetracycline ciprofloxacin comparison 0.05). All tetracycline-resistant carried tetM gene 50% erythromycin-resistant ermA gene. Conclusions: Among outpatients recurrent NGU, dominated, hominis, infection. Minomycine doxycycline recommended empirical clinical treatment. determination infection, antibiotic testing is crucial effective therapy.

Urethral specimens from 726 patients with nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) were examined for Chlamydia trachomatis, Ureaplasma urealyticum, and Mycoplasma hominis. Chlamydiae were isolated from 35.9% of ureaplasma-positive patients and from 36.5% of ureaplasma-negative patients. Ureaplasmas were isolated from 52.5% of chlamydia-positive patients and from 53.1% of chlamydia-negative patients, an o...
